1. Purpose

Mystic Wellness Ltd is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, professional, and supportive learning environment for all learners, tutors, staff, and guests. Our training and courses in Sound Bath, Gong Bath, Reiki, Meditation, and Drumming often involve personal reflection, experiential learning, group participation, and shared therapeutic practice. For this reason, maintaining respectful and professional conduct is essential to ensure the wellbeing, dignity, and safety of everyone involved.

This Student Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected from all learners attending any training, workshop, or course delivered by Mystic Wellness Ltd, whether delivered in person, online, or through blended learning formats.

By enrolling on any course, learners agree to comply with this Code of Conduct throughout the duration of their training.

All Mystic Wellness Ltd policies form part of a single contractual framework. In case of conflict, the Training Terms & Conditions Policy shall prevail unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Respectful Behaviour and Professional Conduct

Learners are expected to behave professionally both during and outside training activities where their conduct may reasonably impact Mystic Wellness Ltd., fellow learners, practitioners, tutors, clients, or the wider learning environment. This includes behaviour on social media, messaging platforms, online forums, and public communications connected to the training.

Mystic Wellness Ltd recognises that many holistic practices involve personal beliefs, spiritual traditions, cultural perspectives, and emotional experiences. Learners must respect the diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, identities, and experiences of others, even where perspectives differ.

Respectful behaviour includes speaking courteously and professionally, allowing others equal opportunity to participate, respecting personal boundaries including physical and emotional boundaries, engaging constructively in group discussions and practical activities, and maintaining professionalism during both formal and informal interactions.

Disruptive behaviour, repeated interruptions, aggressive language, or conduct that negatively affects the learning experience of others will not be accepted.

3. Confidentiality in Group Learning Environments

Many Mystic Wellness Ltd courses involve personal reflection, experiential exercises, partner work, and group discussions. Learners may choose to share personal experiences, emotional responses, or aspects of their own healing or professional journey as part of the learning process.

All learners are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any personal information disclosed during training.

Any personal information shared during training must be handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Learners must not collect, store, distribute, publish, or share personal information relating to other participants without lawful basis or explicit consent.

This includes names, contact details, photographs, screenshots, recordings, private communications, health disclosures, assessment information, or any identifying information disclosed during training

Learners must not repeat or share personal stories discussed by others during training, disclose names or identifying details of other participants outside the training environment, share private discussions from group work without explicit consent, or record or distribute conversations, exercises, or reflections without permission.

Maintaining confidentiality helps build trust and psychological safety within the group and is considered a core professional standard in holistic practice. A breach of confidentiality may be treated as serious misconduct and may result in disciplinary action or removal from training.

4. Harassment, Bullying, Discrimination and Inappropriate Conduct

Mystic Wellness Ltd operates a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, bullying, discrimination, victimisation, intimidation, or abusive behaviour. No learner should experience treatment that makes them feel unsafe, humiliated, intimidated, or excluded.

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, verbal abuse or aggressive language, bullying or repeated intimidation, discriminatory comments or behaviour based on protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010 including age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage/civil partnership, and pregnancy/maternity, sexual harassment or inappropriate physical contact, offensive jokes, gestures, or comments, and online harassment including messages sent through email, messaging apps, or social media related to training.

This policy applies equally to in-person and online learning environments. Any learner found to have engaged in harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct may be removed immediately from training.

5. Professional Boundaries and Appropriate Participation

As many Mystic Wellness Ltd courses involve practical and experiential work—including Sound Bath, Gong Bath, Reiki, Meditation facilitation, and Drumming practice—learners are expected to maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Learners must seek consent before any physical contact where relevant to practical exercises, respect another learner’s right to decline participation in any exercise, avoid giving medical advice or therapeutic claims beyond their competence, and practise only within the scope of the training being undertaken.

Learners are responsible for ensuring they are physically, emotionally, and mentally fit to participate safely in practical, sound-based, meditation, breathwork, energetic, or experiential activities.

Learners must inform Mystic Wellness Ltd of any relevant health conditions, injuries, accessibility requirements, safeguarding concerns, or circumstances that may affect safe participation where appropriate.

Personal boundaries, emotional safety, and informed consent are essential principles within all Mystic Wellness Ltd programmes.

Mystic Wellness Ltd reserves the right to modify participation requirements, pause practical activities, or recommend withdrawal from activities where participation may present a health, safeguarding, or safety risk.

6. Use of Mobile Devices, Recording and Social Media

To preserve the integrity and confidentiality of the learning environment, learners are expected to use phones and devices responsibly during training.

Unless expressly permitted, mobile phones should be silenced during sessions, photography, video recording, and audio recording are not permitted, course materials must not be shared publicly online, and screenshots or extracts from online sessions must not be posted on social media without written permission.

Training materials remain the intellectual property of Mystic Wellness Ltd and must not be copied or redistributed without authorisation.

All course materials, manuals, training content, handouts, presentations, recordings, frameworks, methods, exercises, branding, logos, and educational resources provided by Mystic Wellness Ltd remain the intellectual property of Mystic Wellness Ltd unless otherwise stated in writing.

Learners may use materials solely for personal educational purposes connected with their training and may not reproduce, resell, upload, distribute, teach, license, commercially exploit, or share materials without prior written permission.

Unauthorised use of intellectual property may result in removal from training and legal action where appropriate.

7. Online Learning Conduct

Where courses are delivered online, learners must uphold the same professional standards expected in person.

Learners participating in online sessions must ensure that:

• login details and meeting links are not shared with unauthorised persons;
• sessions are attended in a respectful and private environment where possible;
• usernames, profile images, and displayed content remain appropriate and professional;
• online chat functions are used respectfully and professionally.
• online misconduct may be treated in the same way as in-person misconduct.

This includes joining sessions on time, participating respectfully, using appropriate language and behaviour on camera and in chat functions, ensuring their learning environment is suitable and free from disruption where possible, and not allowing unauthorised third parties to attend or observe training sessions.

Mystic Wellness Ltd reserves the right to remove participants from online sessions where behaviour compromises safety, confidentiality, safeguarding, or the learning environment.

8. Removal Rights and Disciplinary Action

Mystic Wellness Ltd reserves the right to take disciplinary action where learner behaviour breaches this Code of Conduct.

Depending on the seriousness of the issue, action may include a verbal warning, written warning, temporary suspension from training, removal from a session, permanent removal from the course, or refusal of future enrolment.

In cases of serious misconduct, including harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, repeated disruption, or breach of confidentiality—immediate removal may occur without prior warning.

Where a learner is removed due to misconduct, Mystic Wellness Ltd reserves the right to withhold certification and may decline any refund. These decisions are made at the sole discretion of Mystic Wellness Ltd management to protect the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

Where appropriate, learners may submit a written appeal regarding disciplinary decisions within 14 days of notification of the decision.

Mystic Wellness Ltd reserves the right to review appeals at its sole discretion. Submission of an appeal does not automatically suspend or reverse disciplinary action already taken where immediate safeguarding, safety, confidentiality, or wellbeing concerns exist.

9. Learner Acknowledgement

By enrolling in any training or course with Mystic Wellness Ltd, learners acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Student Code of Conduct.

Learners understand that failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, removal from training, and/or loss of certification eligibility.

10. Complaints Procedure

Learners who wish to raise concerns or complaints regarding training delivery, tutor conduct, discrimination, safeguarding, accessibility, wellbeing, or breaches of this Code of Conduct should submit concerns in writing to Mystic Wellness Ltd as soon as reasonably possible.

All complaints will be reviewed fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with applicable legal obligations and internal procedures.

Mystic Wellness Ltd will take reasonable steps to investigate concerns appropriately and may request supporting information where necessary.

Vexatious, malicious, abusive, or intentionally false complaints may themselves constitute misconduct under this Policy

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect legal, regulatory, operational, safeguarding, educational, or business changes. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Where appropriate, learners may also be notified of significant changes by email, through training communications, or via the learning platform.

Continued enrolment, attendance, participation in training, workshops, mentoring, online learning, or use of services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

12. Acknowledgement

All practitioners, staff, contractors, volunteers, assessors, tutors, and relevant students working with or representing Mystic Wellness Ltd. are required to read, understand, and comply with this Student Code of Conduct Policy at all times.

By enrolling on, attending, accessing, or participating in any course, workshop, mentoring programme, retreat, event, online session, or training delivered by Mystic Wellness Ltd., learners acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Policy.

Learners further acknowledge that failure to comply with this Policy may result in disciplinary action, suspension, removal from training, withholding of certification, restriction of future enrolment, or referral to relevant authorities where appropriate.
